Polo
We now play polo all year round. Starting in the beginning of October (when our grass season ends) straight through winter to the end of May. During these months we play in our 150 by 300 outdoor lighted arena (shown above) or in our 80 by 200 indoor arena, located at Country Farms. With viewing from either floor of our two story heated indoor lounge, players guests and family members can enjoy polo in comfort during any weather. When June arrives we are centrally located between the three most famous locations in the world for low, medium and high goal polo. So whether it is Southampton in the East, or Old Westbury in the West, or Bethpage Polo at the Park in Bethpage State Park, Country Farms can accommodate all of your polo needs.
If you have polo ponies of your own it’s important to make sure there cared for properly, and Country Farms can do just that. All you have to do is arrive at the field a few minutes before the chukkas begin and your horse will be tacked and ready to go. If you don’t already own your own polo ponies we have several rental horses that can fit your individual riding needs.
Our schedule changes from season to season. The schedule for polo being held at Country Farms is currently Saturdays at 5pm and Sunday at 11am.

We are a complete service polo facility offering full polo board and training for both horse and rider. This service to include trailering to and from all local polo venues. We can provide a professional polo groom for your string of polo ponies.

Lessons
​Lessons
Lessons are available to all who wish to try polo. With a unique blend of Hunter/Jumpers/ Dressage and Polo we are able to take beginner riders into our lesson program and directionalize their riding skills towards the sport of polo. Other than beginners most riders are able to take polo lessons immediately. Please keep in mind, the better you ride the easier it is to master the game of polo.

We offer practice chukkers and tournaments at Country Farms, Bethpage State Park, Meadowbrook Polo Club and many other Polo Clubs. If you don't have your own polo ponies we have a wide variety of playing ponies for each players needs that can be rented for the season.
